Hiu Mei is a single mother. After her divorce, she raises her daughter, Man Man, on her own. Hoping to give her daughter a better life, she decides to work part-time in a convenience store. On Man Man’s birthday night, Hiu Mei receives a call from her supervisor and asks her to take a night shift, which puts her in a dilemma.
